Tim Hoelscher is as at home writing ghost stories as he is writing code for his literary magazine/writing and reading community Gavagai. His own writing has appeared in myriad publications and anthologies over the past decade, and reflects a passion for the Washington, DC area and the rural areas that surround it. When he’s not penning a new story, he can be found at his farm in the wilds of southern Maryland with his wife and dogs, cats, chickens and goats. In his spare time, Tim runs a small custom furniture shop and has been trained in furniture design and metalworking at the George Washington University’s Corcoran School of Art and The Art League Alexandria. He also holds a BS in computer science and an MS in cloud computing architecture, both from the University of Maryland University College, as well as an MFA in Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University.
